From the late 90’s to the early 00’s, Tilburg was the backdrop of a series of legendary hardcore, punk and metal shows, organized by the illustrious Evacuate Bookings.

Bands like Tear It Up, Annihilation Time, Pelican, the Nitwitz, Today is the Day, Dead Stop, Restless Youth, Das Oath, The Devil’s Blood and many more considered Tilburg a mandatory stop in their touring schedule.

Eventually Evacuate disbanded, but not before giving birth to the infamous Incubate Festival.

After a twenty-year hiatus, whilst pursuing career paths as rock ‘n’ roll drummer, booking agent, music manager, corporate bigwig and academic researcher, the need to start booking shows again emerged simultaneously in both Rotterdam and Tilburg, the domicile of two of the driving forces behind Evacuate.

With more enthusiasm, knowledge and experience, Evacuate has been reignited.
